In this seminar, Dr. Burns will delve into the intriguing world of repetitive DNA sequences within in the human genome, focusing on the utility of using the LINE-1 ORF1 protein as a cancer biomarker. She will also explore the mechanisms and implications of LINE-1 ORF2 mutagenesis in various malignancies. Join us for a fascinating discussion at the intersection of genomics and cancer research.
